The cut expert variojet is a multi-functional CAD/CAM-controlled waterjet cutting system operating with pure water without abrasives. It impresses with its high cutting speed and constant precision and is suitable for all sorts of flexible, non-metallic industrial materials like technical textiles, foam, plastics, rubber, composites, prepregs, sealing and insulation materials, spacer fabrics, foil or cardboard. Each machine is customized to the individual specifications of each customer. This allows for a wide range of applications for cutting either rolled or sheet materials. Thanks to its modular design concept, the cutter can easily be extended and adapted to increasing capacity requirements by an additional cutting table, additional cutting heads and cutting bridges. Various optional features can be added on customer demand, e.g. printing or labeling unit, unwinder or milling head. Customized software interfaces allow a complete integration of the cutter into upstream and downstream manufacturing processes.
